Jeff Lewis isn't staring off Season 8 of Flipping Out by acting any more reserved than he has in the past. When the series key cast member appeared on Wendy William's show, he told the host that he was disappointed with Real Housewives of Atlanta's NeNe Leakes, who he says has "regressed" in to acting "dirty." Spoilers: A new edition to the renovation team has Andrew Coleman afraid he might lose his job.
Flipping Out head honcho Jeff Lewis might be known for throwing a temper tantrum of two, but he thinks that the recent brawls on Real Housewives of Atlanta makes the whole show look bad.
While promoting his show on a recent episode of the Wendy Williams Show, Lewis told the host that he was especially disappointed with NeNe Leakes, and he hopes her stint on Dancing with the Stars will improve her behavior (via The Wrap):
"I'm actually very happy that she has this gig, because I feel like this last season we're watching right now, I feel like she has kind of regressed, taken a step backwards. I feel like she's getting a little dirty.
"I felt dirty...I felt like this has gone too far. I don't mind flipping tables, I don't mind screaming at each other, but when they start breaking ribs, that's where I'm like, ooh, this is a line."
Andrew Coleman isn't so sure that it's won't come down to a physical altercation between him and the new staff member, if she tries to overshadow him this season.
Andrew told The Back Lot that he is prepared to do whatever it takes to make sure he doesn't lose the hard won respect he has earned during his time working for Lewis:
"I did make it by the skin of my teeth. I think this season, there is someone new, Megan, so it really made me step up my game just thinking, "Oh, God, here's someone new. If I don't perform, and if I don't get some of my shit together then I'm probably really out the door.
"You know? So that kind of changed things this season, not as far as how crazy I am or some of the nonsense I pull, but it made me definitely step up my game."
Just as long as he doesn't try and replace Zoila; she is one in 10 million.
