There is a brand new extended trailer from the upcoming Marvel movie Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier has been released. The new scene/trailer features the now pregnant Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow and the soon to be villain Crossbones, teaming up with Cap and The Falcon. Meanwhile, ABC has announced plans for a new Marvel TV special featuring footage from the upcoming, Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.
In the newly released trailer for Captain American 2: The Winter Soldier we get a good look at The Black Widow in action.
Recently it was revealed that Widow actress Scarlett Johansson was five months pregnant.
The clip also features several other S.H.I.E.L.D. members.
Frank Grillo plays S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, Brock Rumlow, who turns into the villain Crossbones. Last year, Grillo spoke to CraveOnline about what it was like to work on The Winter Soldier:
“For any actor, it’s huge and you really get an understanding of that when you see guys like [Robert] Redford show up to do a role. What’s happening now is I think since all the Marvel movies had such a wide range of viewers globally that you’d be crazy not to want to be involved on some level with the Marvel people. They do it like nobody else. For me it’s a great opportunity because it’s an international film. It just raises your exposure that much more.”
Meanwhile, Marvel announced a new special “Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe” airing on ABC, Tuesday, March 18, at 8 p.m.
According to a press statement, the special will feature a first look at the upcoming Avengers sequel, as well footage from the rest of the Phase Two offerings, giving fans a, “front row seat to the inception of Marvel Studios, the record-breaking films, the cultural phenomenon, and further expansion of the universe by Marvel Television.”
