When it comes to the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie, news is always being made. Following reports that filming has wrapped on the film, Jamie Dornan has been out promoting the movie. Charlie Hunnam, who turned down the role after initially accepting the part, has remained silent on the matter.
It's official, filming has concluded on the movie adaptation of EL James popular novel. Your Tango was among the first to report on the cast and crew leaving Vancouver, telling their viewers:
"Filming wrapped on the Fifty Shades of Grey movie set! E.L. James was spotted sipping some celebratory booze with director Sam Taylor-Johnson on Instagram, captioning the photo, 'One of us is drinking... It's a wrap.'
"Fifty Shades film producer Dana Brunetti posted this photo leaving Vancouver-and Christian Grey himself, Jamie Dornan, was spotted leaving Vancouver for the U.K."
Just days after filming wrapped, Jamie Dornan was out doing press for the upcoming blockbuster. The sexy actor was sitting down with Graham Norton, where the two discussed the position Jamie is in:
"I mean, look, we're in a really powerful position that 90-plus million people have read the book so if like a third-I mean, a hundredth of those people-that's successful if they go see the film...It's a nice position to be in, but I have no idea what it's gonna do."
One person who's not talking about the film is Charlie Hunnam, who is likely trying to forget he was ever a part of it. The Sons of Anarchy star dropped out of the movie just weeks before filming was set to begin. While Charlie hasn't really commented on his departure, the producers released the following statement via Twitter:
"The filmmakers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam's immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey."
