‘Frozen’ Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs Divorce Update: Sings “Let It Go” at Oscars, Previews ‘If/Then’ on Broadway

Frozen star Idina Menzel is too busy to let the now infamous botched John Travolta "Let It Go" Oscar introduction bother her. The "wickedly awesome" Broadway sensation, who announced that she and husband of ten years Taye Diggs were divorcing late last year, is updating her already very impressive resume by singing in yet another hit musical. If/Then's New York City previews begin this week, with the show making its official Big Apple debut at the end of the month.

Adele Dazeem, A.K.A. Idina Menzel, isn't looking for an apology from John Travolta for embarrassing them both with his ridiculous Xenuian pronunciation of her name last Sunday night at the 86th Annual Academy Awards.

The 42-year-old single mother is focused on getting her new musical off to the best possible start of its first Broadway run.

Idina didn't let John Travolta's mini-stroke get to her for one second at the Oscars, on stage or off.

One eyewitness told E! that as soon as she was done delivering a stellar performance, she reportedly ran over to console Vinnie Barbarino after his overwhelming failure at reading:

"She laughed it off. She thought it was so funny. She was like, 'What are you going to do?'

"The Oscars were a dream come true for Idina. She wasn't going to let anything get in the way of that."

Idina hasn't mentioned anything about the Oscar night name change, other than she can still hardly believe that everything went as well as it did (via Twitter):

"Still pinching myself over my entire #Oscars experience. Dream come true."

Truth is Menzel wasn't had much time to dwell on whether or not the Oscars went well; she had to get back to New York to get ready for her first official If/Then Broadway performance.

Idina announced the NYC previews started March 5, on her Twitter feed last Wednesday night:

"First preview tonight. #ifthenmusical Felt really good. Hope you guys like."

So go get your tickets to the new show, it will have all the magic of the Oscar performance without the dementia raddled MC.
