‘Transformers 4:' Optimus Prime Fights Dinobot Grimlock and Galvatron In New Trailer Plus Unicron Rumors [VIDEO]

There is a brand new trailer for the upcoming film Transformers 4: Age of Extinction. The new trailer features an awesome scene with Optimus Prime fighting against the Dinobot leader Grimlock. We also get a good look at the film’s villain Galvatron, sparking rumors that planet-sized Unicron will make an appearance…or has he already?

The new and highly anticipated trailer for Transformers 4: Age of Extinction. The new action-packed trailer is full of plenty of eye candy and not just Nicola Peltz.

The trailer starts off with Optimus Prime in a broke down, old-school G-1 disguise. A little later on, we get a newly redesigned Prime smacking Dinobot Grimlock.

We also get to see some more of resurrected Megatron, A.K.A. Galvatron, meaning that Unicron can not be too far behind. The trailer does feature a large Decepticon ship hovering above Hong Kong. Could this be a scaled down Unicron?

The trailer definitely shows off the film’s darker tone that Michael Bay has promised us for months now.

Bay recently spoke to Yahoo! Movies UK about the film's new tone:

“I wanted the first Transformers to be very suburban and less cool. This is a much more cinematic one. I focused on keeping this one slick. There won’t be any goofiness in this one. We went a bit too goofy [on the last one].”

Bay later cleared up the confusion on whether the new movie will be a reboot or not:

“It feels like a new chapter, this movie. But it’s not a reboot. This movie lives in the history of the ‘Transformers’ movies, and this one starts three years after the last. It feels fresh.”
