Ever since Dean McDermott was accused of cheating on Tori Spelling, divorce rumors have been flying. Now a new report suggests that Tori, who is broke, was begged for forgiveness by Dean while he was in rehab.
The March 10 edition of Star made Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott their cover...again. This time, the publication claims that Dean begged for Tori to accept him back, and she accepted, because she can't afford the alternative.
One source who spoke with the tabloid claims that when Tori went to see Dean in rehab on February 10, he laid it on thick:
"[Dean] begged, pleaded and cried for forgiveness. He swore if she took him back he'd become the loving father and husband Tori believed he was all along."
Ultimately, the source reveals, Tori decided to give Dean another chance. Of course, the same insider revealed that Tori was too poor to divorce him:
"Even with her new TV series, Tori is scared she won't make enough money to take care of the kids alone...With very little income coming in from Dean-especially now that he's in an expensive rehab-Tori is really struggling. She's so desperate for money that she's begging Candy [her mom] to help her out."
This report seems to echo a number of others we've seen in recent weeks. One source who spoke with Radar Online revealed the extent of her woes:
"She would definitely kick Dean to the curb if she could financially afford to do so... Tori has admitted she would file for divorce from Dean, but she is afraid she would go broke...The couple has no prenuptial agreement, and Tori is the sole breadwinner. Dean wouldn't settle for anything less than joint custody, and Tori would be forced to pay him spousal and child support. It's a really sad situation for Tori and the kids."
