‘Arrow’ Bi-Sexual Black Canary Birds of Prey Update and Deathstroke Episode Preview

The CW’s Arrow is one of the hottest shows on TV today. This week the Arrow clan face off against the one and onlyDeathstroke, Wade Wilson. Good thing Ollie has a little help from Roy Harper and The Black Canary. Speaking of the Black Canary, the bi-sexual super hero will soon be joined by The Birds of Prey in an upcoming episode.

Arrow is planning a Birds of Prey themed episode in coming weeks. Recently it was revealed that BOP member The Black Canary was bi-sexual. Arrow executive producer Andrew Kreisberg recently spoke to reporters about Sara Lance’s sexual orientation.

"It's a pretty chaste relationship from what you see on screen. It just touched on a couple interesting things, like the idea that Sara found herself in this terrible world and found this one person who treated her with love and kindness. Even the way it bounced back for Lance [Paul Blackthorne], this hardened, tough cop who's probably not the most progressive guy. Even he was like, 'I'm just glad you had somebody who loved you and took care of you during those nightmare years.' Those little moments felt like they would be special and play for us."

As for this week’s new episode, titled “The Promise,” Slade Wilson, himself, Manu Bennett recently gave TVGuide a preview of the plot:

"He's basically following through on a promise that he made Oliver back on the island,Slade Wilson has a bone to pick with Oliver in regards to the death of Shado."

The official plot synopsis for the episode reads:

“Oliver is shocked to learn that Slade is in Starling City. Back on the island, Oliver, Slade and Sara prepare to take over the freighter from Ivo, and Sara urges Oliver to kill Ivo. Although he feels guilty about it, Oliver agrees to do it.”

The all new episode of Arrow airs tomorrow airs this Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
