Major news broke recently about the upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie. Filming has officially wrapped, and now many are wondering if the film will receive an NC-17 or R rating.
It may not have had a great start, but the production crew of Fifty was able to wrap filming ahead of schedule. Like every other major movie announcement (location, cast, etc.), it was made through EL James Twitter, as Now Magazine reports:
"Filming on the Fifty Shades of Grey movie has come to an end in Canada. Work started in Vancouver at the beginning of December but author EL James--real name Erika Leonard--has announced that it's now complete. 'One of us is drinking... It's a wrap,' Erika, 50, told her Twitter fans. The writer posed for a picture to celebrate with the film's director Sam Taylor-Johnson."
Now that filming has completed, many are wondering what rating the film will seek. If one source who spoke with Café Mom is any indication, the film could be labeled with an NC-17 rating:
"Fifty Shades of Grey producers know they have to make the screen version just as steamy as the novel to make it a success. They can't turn it into a Disney movie. So, yeah. They're showing Dornan's bits and pieces, and lord knows what for Dakota Johnson."
That report supports a recent article in Star as well. According to a source who spoke with the publication, Jamie's going to be in his birthday suit as well:
"[Jamie Dornan] is definitely not afraid to flaunt everything he's got. Christian Grey spends a lot of time naked, so it's no surprise that Jamie will strip down during his time in the Red Room of Pain."
