Rumors that Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres will be seeking a divorce have temporarily subsided. Despite a number of cheating allegations, the two were spotted getting cozy after the Oscars, leading many to believe the breakup rumors were false.
Gossip site Inquisitr was among the first to report on Ellen and Portia's post-Oscar antics. While the two seemed to be in love, others wondered if they were just playing to the cameras:
"The couple made an appearance at the Vanity Fair post-Oscars party, getting close and appearing to show no marital stress as paparazzi snapped pictures. Though some speculate that Ellen DeGeneres and Porti de Rossi may have just been putting in a show, the rumors of their divorce still persist."
Not everyone is buying it. Celebrity Dirty Laundry even reported that Ellen has been dating a mystery brunette. According to the gossip site, DeGeneres wants to keep people talking:
"This photo op for the paparazzi was not an accident, but instead very purposeful. Ellen knew that she and her new friend would be photographed together and that Portia would see the snaps. She also knows better than to be seen with another woman alone, unless she wants people to talk."
Though, this is highly unlikely. Why?
Because Ellen obviously prefers blondes-at least, that's how Star made it seem, when they declared that Ellen was actually obsessed with Pam Anderson:
"[Pam Anderson] is all Ellen talks about these days. It's become a real issue for Portia."
The sad publication even claimed that Portia needs to watch out, since Pam cut her hair short like Ellen's:
"As the old theory goes, when two people spend way too much time together, they start to look alike."
