Gamers rejoice. Rumor has it that the next Batman: Arkham game titled Arkham Knight will be announced very soon. Promotional material for the new game has been popping up in game stores across the globe in advance of the game's announcement. Meanwhile, the add-on for Batman: Arkham Origins was announced last week. The new DLC, titled “Cold Cold Heart,” will feature Batman’s first encounter with Mr. Freeze.
Last week pictures of the Batman: Arkham logo bordered in flames were leaked online. Now rumor has it that game will officially be announced this Tuesday March 4, on DC All Access.
The original voice of Batman in the series, Kevin Conroy has been rumored to return to the franchise as well as original game developer, Rocksteady.
Meanwhile, The official trailer for the new Batman: Arkham Origins downloadable content was released last week. The new add on, titled “Cold Cold Heart,” will feature Batman’s first fight with the super villain Mr. Freeze. The game will also feature a limited story campaign, as well as an all new Batsuit that can better handle the cold.
WB Games Vice President of Production, Ames Kirshen, released a statement to the press last week about the new add on:
“This is…in-game, mission, story content, with brand new story content wrapped around Mr. Freeze in the Arkham Origins setting.
