At a recent performance, Miley Cyrus took time to bash Liam Hemsworth and publicly discuss their high-profile breakup. Now rumors are flying that Miley Cyrus is dating the high school student who asked her on a prom date.
Newsflash: Miley Cyrus is not dating Matt Peterson, the 17-year-old who invited Miley to his prom. The popstar didn't attend, but she did bring Peterson backstage at a recent concert.
Matt wasn't limited to back stage either. Miley called him on stage, where she serenaded him with her hit, "Adore You."
Of course, the most shocking part of the evening came when Matt got on one knee and jokingly proposed to the star. It didn't take long before Miley brought up her ex, Liam Hemsworth (via E! News):
"I was in this position once before, and it didn't work out too well the last time a guy got on one knee for me. Hopefully this will be better."
Miley isn't dating producer Mike WiLL Made It either. Or at least that's what she is claiming, following a number of reports that claim the two are more than just friends.
Last year, an article in OK! suggested that the two were quite the item. According to one source, they've hooked up multiple times:
"Right now she's in the market for a new guy and has been flirting up a storm with a number of cute guys...She's hooked up with [Mike] a few times. Friends are warning her not to get too close, because it will only end in tears. Mike's a total playboy and one of the worst people Miley could pick for a rebound."
