Sony Vaio Duo 11 (D11213CX) is the new laptop/tablet hybrid from the Japanese manufacture and is rumored to be set at a release price of $1199.99 according to PCMAG.COM.
First news of this new hybrid came the way of Berlin, Germany in August when it was announced and finally on Oct. 10 in London,England the device surfaced.
As mentioned before Sony's Vaio Duo 11 is a tablet and laptop in one so it will be running against companies like Apple and Lenovo. Apple's iPad Mini that is soon to be released and their MackBook Pro line are potential rivals for Sony's new hybrid. Lenovo has also entered the market with its versatile IdeaPad Yoga .
The Sony Vaio Duo 11 carries an 11.6 inches HD 1920x1080 resolution and moves up to display the keyboard. The device is 8.71 by 12.60 by 7.84 inches in height, width and diameter and weighs in at 2.9 pounds. The Sony Vaio Duo 11 flaunts a magnesium alloy frame glossy black plastic exterior.
In terms of connections this hybrid has multiple USB ports. It will have a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack while on the optic side the new Sony hardware will sport front and rear facing 2.4 megapixel cameras.
The Sony product will also have a chiclet keyboard however there will be no palmrest and the mouse buttons are located at the edge of the keyboard just below the spacebar.
The Sony Vaio Duo 11 will be supported by Microsoft's Windows 8 and will have Wi-Fi capabilities. The device will have a third generation Intel Core i5-3317U processor.
