Rumors are once again flying that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling may be going through a breakup, following photos of Eva attending an event alone. These latest claims come after rumors that George Clooney could be looking to date Eva Mendes.
Eva and Ryan silenced breakup rumors for about a week, after Ryan was photographed outside of Mendes' home. Sadly, their relief was short-lived.
Claims that the couple is calling it quits surfaced immediately following Eva's solo attendance at a recent ceremony, as E! News reports:
"The actress stepped out (without her hunky boyfriend Ryan Gosling, ugh!) to attend the She's So Violet dinner honoring Elizabeth Taylor in Los Angeles...But just because she wasn't draped on the arm of her leading man doesn't mean they're not still together!"
Of course, there are even more absurd rumors abounding. Specifically, Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that George Clooney is looking to date the brunette bombshell:
"Unlike the gaggle of girlfriends Clooney has dated before, The Enquirer reports that he appreciates that Eva is intellectual and deep. Clooney loves her energy and thinks she is stunning. After a two-year stint with Elisabetta Canalis, 35, and another high-profile romance with Keibler, Clooney took a short break from love. Now, it seems, he is ready for romance and the sexy Latina is just what he is looking for to cure his loneliness."
According to a number of tabloid reports, George may soon get his chance. One source tells OK! that Eva has confirmed that the relationship is over:
"Eva said the relationship just ran its course. There wasn't a lot to say. He was everything you're supposed to want in a guy--great on paper--but she felt like something was missing."
