Detroit Piston Andre Drummond Talks Jennette McCurdy Breakup and ‘iCarly’ Miranda Cosgrove Crush

Jennette McCurdy recently opened up to the world about her brief relationship with Detroit Piston Andre Drummond. Now it appears that it his turn. Drummond recently came clean about his breakup with Jennette, as well his crush on her former iCarly co-star, Miranda Cosgrove.

Where do super popular TV stars go when they want to find love? Where else but the Internet? Jennette McCurdy recently penned a blog for The Wall Street Journal about how she met her now ex, Andre Drummond:

“A month and a half ago, I logged onto Twitter and saw my timeline clogged with people asking me to follow some account called “@DRE_DRUMMOND_.” Five tweets are easy to ignore; hundreds are not. Impressed by the amount of energy centered on this account, I of course had to click on it. I first read the bio attached: Official Twitter of Andre Drummond….It seemed he had been expressing his crush on me for quite some time. I found it sweet, gutsy, and flattering. It’s hard not to be impressed by a boy who will express his feelings for you in front of hundreds of thousands of people. I followed him back on Twitter and sent him a public message. We had a brief banter and then he sent me a private message with his phone number. Inevitably, I utilized it.”

However, that new relationship didn’t last long.

Drummond recently sat down with ESPN The Magazine, where he opened up about his short lived relationship with McCurdy:

“It started as a joke with a childhood friend--iCarly was our show, and my friend and I had a thing for Jennette and Miranda Cosgrove. We'd joke about it on Twitter, and Jennette caught wind of it. Turned out she was interested enough to talk to me.”

Drummond went on to add that him and McCurdy are still friends:

“Everything is cool. We're focusing on work and still talking to each other.”
