Engaged Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman News: Defend Baby Vacation In Miami and Dogs

Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman have decided to put any engagement plans on hold, while they focus on their new born baby boy Eric. They caused some busy bodies to question their parenting skill by not postponing their Miami beach vacation. The surly producer has said that regardless of what pictures might look like, he wasn't feeding his baby to dogs under the sweltering southern sun.

Simon Cowell's baby boy Eric was born Valentine's Day in New York City, but just days later, his parents decided it was time to see the world, or at least parts of Florida.

So the new family jumped on a private jet Simon hired and flew down to sunny FLA, where the skies are almost as clear as their finest crystal methamphetamine.

That is why some people are beginning to question the parents' timing, as well as their overall general competence.

That is just a bunch of BS says Simon, who told the Metro that if the baby wasn't fit to fly or in danger of anything in anyway at any time, they would have done things differently:

"Eric is one hundred percent doing brilliantly.

"I just want people to be clear that, yes, he has gone on a plane very early on, but the pediatrician in New York cleared him to travel. We would not have done it otherwise. We would never dream of putting him at any risk.

"I know that there will be photos where Eric looks like he is in the sun, or photos where he looks like there's a dog in his face, or it looks like we aren't being great parents--but that isn't the case. We are taking great care of him all the time.'

"The dog wasn't licking [Eric's] face, he was sniffing him. What I wanted was for the dogs to get used to him. My parents did just the same for me when I was a baby and we had dogs."

So everybody just calm down, Simon and Lauren literally have decades to screw this kid up; let's not rush this thing.
