The new Supernatural spin-off, Supernatural: Tribes, is starting to shape up. The series has now reportedly cast a second former member of The Vampire Diaries, Stephen Martines. Meanwhile, the parent series, starring Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, has been picked up for a new season.
Stephen Martines, who played Freddick on hit CW series The Vampire Diaries is reportedly the newest member of the cast.
Stephen will be joined by fellow TVD cast member Nathaniel Buzolic, who has also been cast for the show.
Meanwhile, Skins star Lucien Laviscount has been cast as the show’s lead Ennis Roth.
Meanwhile, Supernatural has been picked up for one more season. Mark Pedowitz, the CW president announced that the show has been renewed:
"This season we've had great success with our new hit series The Originals paired with Supernatural, giving us our best Tuesday nights in years. The Vampire Diaries is number two in its time period in the young adult demos, and with Arrow continuing to gain among young men, and Reign growing its time period, we now have strong nights on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I'm very pleased to announce early pickups for all five series, and let our fans know they'll have more great drama to look forward to next season."
