It has been a big week for fans of the Batman: Arkham games series. First the trailer for the upcoming Arkham Origins DLC, “Cold Cold Heart” featuring Mr. Freeze, was released. Now possible new promotional material for the next game in the series has been leaked.
The official trailer for the new Batman: Arkham Origins downloadable content has been released. The new game add on, titled “Cold Cold Heart,” will feature Batman’s first encounter with the super villain Mr. Freeze. The game will feature a limited story campaign, as well as an all new Batsuit.
Ames Kirshen, WB Games Vice President of Production, recently released a statement to the press about the game's next chapter:
“This is…in-game, mission, story content, with brand new story content wrapped around Mr. Freeze in the Arkham Origins setting.
Gamespot is reporting that a Gamestop employee has released the first teaser image from the next game in the series. The supposed promotional material is of the series Bat Symbol with flames boarding the edges. It has since been reported that material will hit shelves on March 3.
