There are all new episodes of hit CBS comedies tonight. The Big Bang Theory kicks off the night after rumors that the show will be coming back an eighth season, despite Thursday night football. The show will reportedly start the season on a new night. BBT star Jim Parson will also cross over to NBC this weekend to host Saturday Night Live. Meanwhile, Two and a Half Men is also all new tonight but at a different time than normal.
The hit CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory is all new tonight. The official plot synopsis for tonight's all new episode, titled ‘The Table Polarization,” reads:
“Leonard's purchase of a dining-room table for the apartment doesn't sit well with Sheldon, so much so that it forces him to reevaluate his life. Meanwhile, Bernadette isn't quite over the moon about Howard taking another trip to space.”
One of the series stars, Jim Parsons, A.K.A. Sheldon Cooper, will be hosting Saturday Night Live with musical guest, Beck this weekend. Watch Parsons and SNL’s Bobby Moynihan joke around a collection of previews.
Meanwhile,CBS has reportedly picked up the show for an eight season, despite their commitment to Thursday night football.
Les Moonves, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CBS Corporation, reportedly made the announcement during a conference call according to Digital Spy, saying: "We're not going to wait until November. It'll be on some other night."
Two and a Half Men is also a brand new episode and at a new time. The show will be moving up the lineup a half an hour to 9:00 p.m. Rumor also has it that Judith will return in the all new episode, titled “Cab Fare and a Bottle of Penicillin."
The official plot synopsis for the new episode reads:
“Lyndsey faces a choice between Alan and Larry; Jenny worries about her relationship with Brooke.”
