The good news is that the Xbox One console is getting a price drop. The bad news is that it's only for the UK. However, the brand new upcoming game Titanfall will be made available for free download in a special bundle pack worldwide.
Have you been holding off on buying the new Xbox One? Then now might be the time to stop stalling. Ok, well not right now, but more like March 11.
That is when the brand new Titanfall bundle will be released. The bundle, available for preorder now, will include the Xbox One console with Kinect Sensor and a Titanfall game download, Wireless Controller, a Chat Headset, an HDMI cable and a 1-Month Xbox Live Gold membership.
Yusuf Mehdi, Xbox’s chief marketing and strategy officer released a statement to the press about the upcoming bundle.
"In many ways, the launch of Titanfall will enable us to deliver the first truly next generation multiplayer game--one that will take advantage of the new party and chat improvements we're delivering, build on the power of the cloud in a way only Microsoft can, and connect fans on Xbox Live. If you've been waiting for the biggest game of the generation before purchasing your Xbox One, this special, limited time offer is perfect for you."
Meanwhile, the console will get price drop in the UK starting Feb 28.
Harvey Eagle, Microsoft’s U.K. marketing director, recently released a statement about the UK-only price cut:
“At Xbox, we believe there’s never been a better time to join the new console generation. To help our fans do just that, Xbox One will be available at the new UK estimated retail price (ERP) of £399.99 from February 28th.”
