Season 3 Girls cast alum Adam Driver has reportedly been offered the opportunity to play the bad guy role in the soon-to-be-filming JJ Abrams' Star Wars update, if creator Lena Dunham's Twitter conformations are more than just hype. Lena also revealed the dust jacket and title of her much hyped first book.
Adam Driver has not been officially named by the studio, but Variety announced this week that he is in negotiations to play the key villain in JJ Abrams' Star Wars reboot.
Lena Dunham isn't waiting on the official word, she went ahead and congratulated Driver on her Twitter feed:
"We're VERY proud of Adam Driver re: Star Wars. He's about to rip a hole in da force. Is that a thing? I guess I should see those movies?
"I confirm nothing bc I know nothing bc I'm on a plane with my dad! I just like Adam more than almost anyone, and JJ Abrams a whole lot too.
"Arm Rest Wars: a trilogy about my father and me on this plane that also stars Lamby and a bag of nuts. I'm dumb."
No doubt Dunham's book will be more thought out, when it arrives this autumn.
According to USA Today, Dunham is all set to net a pretty penny from the deal, whether it goes over well or not:
"Lena Dunham of Girls has gone all Jackie Susann on us with the design of the jacket for her first book, Not That Kind of Girl.
"She also tweeted the release date: Oct. 7. Dunham reportedly was paid around $3.5 million for the book, which is subtitled: A Young Woman Tells You What She's "Learned."
Wonder is she's going to be unnecessarily naked in this too.
