‘Wendy Williams Show’ News Today: Rosie O'Donnell Belongs On ‘View’; Michele Obama Too Opinionated

Wendy Williams took time on her show to express that she shares the nation's view of The View and thinks they need to liven things up by adding Rosie O'Donnell today. Wendy also thinks that it is inappropriate for First Lady Michele Obama to weigh in on the latest Justin Bieber news.

Wendy Williams recently commented on her show that if The View was destined to survive the current ratings slump, then they would have to "shake thing up."

According to Wendy Williams, the show's producers need to bring Rosie O'Donnell back on to the show full time, instead of just for an appearance here and there (via Huffington Post):

"I think The View should bring [Rosie] back

"They have to do something. Barbara Walters is leaving. Whoopi has said before that she's just there for the paycheck, so Whoopi doesn't care about sitting in the Barbara position--too many responsibilities!

"She does have a big head though."

An insider on The View told Star that her being big headed could be exactly the kind of constant conflict that has the show's producers looking at Rosie, not Wendy's endorsement, of course:

"It was memorable television, and that's what The View is lacking--the magic of the show is long gone.

"But Rosie is must-see TV, and they're desperate to have her back, It would be a win-win for everyone, except maybe Jenny McCarthy."

And Wendy Williams knows a thing or two about overblown egos; Williams recently thought it was her job to put Michele Obama in her place in the pages on Life & Style:

"Can you believe that Michelle Obama has time to comment on the down fall of Justin Bieber?

"Listen, Mrs. Obama, I think that whatever Justin is going through is very sad, too, but I don't want to see my first lady dabbling in messy teenage pop culture gossip."
