It's time for another update in the world of celebrity Scientology. Erstwhile member Katie Holmes may be dating Jamie Foxx, following her divorce from Tom Cruise. Leah Remini is reuniting with her King of Queens director, after her public feud with Kirstie Alley. And John Travolta may be the next Bond villain.
For months, rumors have circulated that Katie Holmes is dating Jamie Foxx. According to an article in Life & Style, the two have been together for quite some time:
"Katie and Jamie have been dating for a while. They're very Mission: Impossible about their romance. A hotel employee confirmed that Katie had stayed at the hotel with Jamie and that she was taking his car. So the driver drove her home to her Chelsea apartment."
One source told Grazia that everyone in Hollywood knows the two are hooking up. Since they started dating last August, they've become less secretive (via Independent):
"It's the worst kept secret in Hollywood. When they were first linked last August they weren't ready to make their relationship public. They were both worried about Tom's [Cruise] reaction--after all, he introduced them when he was still married to Katie."
Another ex-Scientology member is Leah Remini, who also finds herself in the news. This time it's over her role on TV Land's comedy, The Exes.
She will be reunited with King of Queens director Rob Schiller. Remini had very kind words to offer up about her former boss:
"Rob Schiller is one of the most talented directors in the industry and I'm happy and excited to be working with him again...He understands and respects both actors and writers, creating a masterfully collaborative and fun environment that everyone enjoys."
John Travolta, who is a current member of the secretive church, also hinted that he may be playing a villain in the next James Bond film. When asked whether he would consider a bad guy role, Travolta responded:
"I would love that. They're going a different way with their villain in this next film but I've spoken to Barbara Broccoli about it and she loves the idea, so that would be great."
