When it comes to Princess Kate Middleton being pregnant, rumors are always flying. This week a major US tabloid is claiming that the Duchess is pregnant with baby bump number 2 and has confirmed she will be having a girl, with an approaching due date.
According to Star, a publication that is known more for their sensational headlines than for being accurate, has proudly proclaimed that Middleton is pregnant with her second child.
If the article is correct, then Kate is expected to deliver the child in August, which means the baby would be born around the same time of year as her first child, Prince George Alexander Louis, who was delivered back in 2013.
There will be one major difference though, this time she is reportedly expecting a baby girl. This has Kate overjoyed, as one source told the publication:
"Little George is getting a sister, and Kate is absolutely thrilled. She was really hoping the next child would be a girl, and having it confirmed has just given her the best start to the year, Kate and William are ecstatic."
It turns out that Prince William was more surprised that he was having a baby girl than he was to learn that Kate was pregnant. The same insider claims that William was expecting Prince George to have a brother, not a sister:
"William was ecstatic! He couldn't stop hugging her. He was actually a little surprised, because he was convinced it would be a boy. In his head, he was expecting a brother for George, because he himself grew up with a little brother...He knows his mother, Princess Diana, would have been overjoyed."
Turns out none of Kate's friends were surprised by her recent baby revelation. A family friend told Star that Kate and William always wanted babies close in age:
"They've said all along that they want back-to-back babies. So Kate's closest friends have always known that she intended to get pregnant again quickly."
What do you think about the latest rumors? Is there any chance that Kate is actually pregnant? Are you happy that her second child could be a daughter?
