It is an exciting time for fans of the WWE. The world's largest wrestling organization has recently released its own pay service on demand. The new WWE Network service will charge fans a meager $9.99 a month and will offer fans hours of entertainment, plus access to all Pay-Per-View events. The company even brought in the big guns to celebrate the event. Hulk Hogan and the Undertaker have both returned. Meanwhile, another WWE legend is not doing so well. Jake “The Snake” Roberts has recently opened up about his bout with cancer.
Soon to be WWE Hall of Famer, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, recently revealed to TMZ that he had cancer. The wrestling legend has since reportedly had surgery to remove a tumor from behind his knee.
The born again Christian put on a brave face and offered some positive words for fans and anyone else suffering from the disease:
"If the devil can't defeat me, cancer doesn't stand a chance in hell! Pray for sick children who face this horrible disease 'cause The Snake will be just fine."
Roberts will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame later this year, during the Wrestlemania weekend celebrations.
Speaking of Wrestlemania, legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan has recently returned to the company to celebrate the launch of the new WWE Network. Hogan will also be hosting Wrestlemania 30 in April.
Hogan spoke with the Associated Press last week about his return “home” To the WWE:
"I definitely want to stay here in the WWE. I just can't see myself ever being anywhere else. This is home. It always has been home. In the twilight of my career, what a great way to be part of the final hurrah for Hulk Hogan and all the Hulkamaniacs."
Meanwhile, Hogan is not the only superstar returning to the biz. The Undertaker made an appearance at this past Monday’s Raw, just in time to continue the streak.
