Well true believers, you can bring home your favorite Asgardian today on Blu Ray. The hit Marvel film, Thor 2: The Dark World. Meanwhile, Chris Hemsworth is already getting ready for Thor 3. The next time around, the actor wants the Prince of Thunder to have a few new superpowers.
Chris Hemsworth has a lot on his hands. The soon to be father of three is busy balancing parenthood and being one of the most sought after actors in hollywood.
With everything he has to juggle, it is no wonder that the hero is looking to get a power boost. Hemsworth recently sat down with Screen Rant about where he would to see his character go in the next film:
"It was one of my first concerns at the beginning of the film. I said, 'look I don't want him to feel he's just doing hand to hand combat he's a god we should see him off the ground more and we should see the power of that weapon and his abilities.' So that was something we really concentrated on upping the action and the stunts and his skillset, really showcasing what he's capable of."
Hemsworth went on to add that he can not always count on his fellow Avengers to help him out:
“I think what’s good about this is that each time, with the Avengers, we sort of made it difficult to separate them each time there’s some sort of conflict it’s like where’s the rest of the team? And I liked that Thor has another universe or the universe to sort of take care of and keep him occupied. I think that in the comic book the sort of end of days, Armageddon aspect is probably the direction in which it will all head in. Where it’s sort of the end of all things and there’s obviously no script or anything when I read the comic books I thought it was an interesting way to go.”
