New details are emerging in the assault arrest case between former WWE superstar Matt Hardy of the hit tag team, The Hardy Boys, and his wife Reby Sky. Sky, a model and part time wrestler, and her husband were both arrested earlier in the month, after holding an unsanctioned match in their hotel room. Now the couple has reportedly taken a deal in the case.
Matt Hardy might not be in the WWE anymore, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t wrestle. The former WWE champion recently got into an all out brawl with his wife Reby Sky in a hotel room in Emporia, VA . However, the audience was not really that into the match.
One fellow Holliday Inn guest heard the commotion and told the motel clerk, who then called 911 telling the operator:
"A guest just came down here and said somebody's beating the hell out of his wife a girl or something."
The couple was later arrested and charges were pressed against both of them. However, they didn’t stay apart for long. Hardy later posted a picture of him and his wife happily together a few days after the incident.
Now the husband and wife have both reportedly taken a plea deal in the case.
The pair has agreed to undergo anger management classes, as well as pay court fines. The couple also have to stay out of trouble for a two year probationary period.
Meanwhile, Hardy seems to be trying get back in good with the WWE chairman Vince Mcmahon. Hardy recently tweeted a string of complements to his former boss, congratulating him on the launch of the WWE Network:
“Congrats to @VinceMcMahon & #WWE on the launch of the @WWENetwork. VKM is an epic visionary & a risk taker. “
