Chris Brown is working on new music. Because that is what you do when you are in court-ordered rehab: you record music, get awards, go on hot dates and...finger paint or whatnot. Really, this place seems great. Breezy recently recorded a new song with Ariana Grande. The rapper also released a sample of a different track, “Blue Roses,” online.
Chris Brown may be in rehab, but he has definitely taken the time stop and smell the roses. In fact, Brown started singing about flowers recently on Twitter:
"i dug a single seed into the ground, I hope it grows.”
Ariana Grande picked up the tune with the next line, tweeting:
'"in a year or two if you're around, you'll see a rose."'
Ariana also added a little insight about the track’s release date for the new track, when she tweeted a response to a fan who asked if it was a song lyric:
“@Abingdong a song u haven't heard that is coming out in march.”
Grande’s manager, Scooter Braun, also added in a tweet of his own:
'”@ArianaGrande that was an amazing session. Excited for this incredible duet on the way :)”
So with all this talk about seeds and roses, one would assume that Brown’s new song, “Blue Roses,” may be the song featuring Grande. However, it is not, as evidenced by Grande’s tweet:
“wait what is blue roses”
Grande further elaborated on the misunderstanding, tweeting:
“oh wait I just looked it up! lol sounds amazing. not the 1 I'm on though. But don't worry !!!!!! You'll know and hear sooner than you think.”
