Kate Gosselin, who appears broke and desperate, was recently bashed by her estranged husband, Jon Gosselin. His comments come after Kate's talk show twin debacle and Jon's own controversy on Couples Therapy.
The Gosselins just can't get along. Sure, it makes sense to put your petty arguments aside for the good of your children, but making sense has never been a priority for the fame-obsessed family.
Nowhere was this more evident than when Kate appeared on Today, where she trotted out a fourth of her children. The problem?
The girls barely said anything, leading many critics to suggest that Kate forced the kids to appear on the show, in order to bring herself back into the public's eye.
Her biggest critic, however, remains Jon Gosselin. Following the TV appearance, Jon gave a troubling interview to E! News:
"The divorced father of eight said he's concerned about leaving his children in Kate Gosselin's care. 'I want temporary primary custody until Kate goes on a psychiatric evaluation,' he said, claiming that his ex-wife 'instills fear' and 'controls' their kids."
Of course, Jon isn't without criticism either. According to an earlier Radar Online article, Jon offered his ex, Hailey Glassman, quite a large sum of money to pretend to be his girlfriend for Couples Therapy:
"Jon reached out to Hailey a few months ago with a 'lucrative opportunity' if she'd just, as he put it, pretend to date him again. Hailey had zero interest. She wants nothing to do with Jon or any of the Gosselins. But he was desperate and it showed. In fact, Gosselin told Glassman he could make her $200,000 if she agreed to it."
