Country starlet Taylor Swift is lucky in life but very unlucky in love. The newest rumor about Taylor is that after dating so many duds, her burgeoning friendship with Lorde could lead to more. Taylor is reportedly shaking up a lot of norms in her life and, instead of going to the studio to record another album, Tay Tay is at dancing class learning how to become a ballerina.
Taylor Swift's love life has been tabloid fodder for years, but worse yet, rumor has it the singer is starting to feel that she will never find a man to love her.
A friend on the inside of Taylor's world told Life & Style that Swift was beginning to think of herself as damaged goods:
"[Taylor] jokes about turning into a crazy cat lady, but there's some truth to that.
"It used to shock her when relationships would fizzle. Now, she's beginning to expect it."
Relationship expert Rachel DeAlto told Life & Style that her personality was more than likely driving men away:
"What makes her successful as an artist is the very thing that can be extremely daunting to a man who values his privacy."
Perhaps that is why she is spending so much time with Lorde, if Taylor is looking for someone that gets her, who could relate better than the teenage New Zealand singer?
But according to Lorde, the interest is strictly professional, no matter what impression one gets from the many pictures of them embracing all over the globe (via Daily Mail):
"The cool thing about Taylor is she is pretty willing to go a lot of places with music. I think that last record [Red] in particular, everyone was, like, 'Woah, a lot of ground has been covered'.
"And I think with an artist like her the sky is the limit."
Tough luck on that collaboration because right now Taylor is reportedly looking to dance not sing her blues away.
According to the Huffington Post, Taylor has spent so much time at the local dance studio, she couldn't have time for much else:
"The Red singer has been spotted hitting up a dance studio almost every day this week, sporting ballerina-like outfits as she makes her way in and out of the building. Swift, 24, has ditched her typical leggings and oversized sweatshirt look for leotards, tights and ballet skirts."
Now what man couldn't love that?
