WWE’s Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Talks Green Lantern John Stewart Casting Rumors, Before ‘Hercules’ Movie Release

Former WWE champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a busy man. The wrestler-turned-actor's work schedule earned him the title of highest paid actor of 2013. Seriously, The Rock is a workaholic. He even plays three different parts in the upcoming film Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Now Johnson is teasing that he might be playing The Green Lantern's John Stewart in the Man of Steel Sequel.

Unless you have been stuck underneath the The Rock-free rock, then you have surely heard that rumor Dwayne Johnson will be in the upcoming Batman Vs Superman film.

Earlier in the year, Johnson first teased his involvement in the film during a question and answer session on twitter, telling fans:

“We just had a big meeting w/ Warner Bros CEO re: @DCComics 2014 we will partner up and create the cool bad assery. #RockTalk @ActionTilson”

Ever since then the internet with crazy with The Rock casting rumors. Everyone from Doomsday to Lex Luthor were mentioned in the rumor mill.

However, Johnson may have revealed the answer all along.
A few months back The Rock had Instagrammed a picture of himself and his long trainer slash producer, Hiram Garciaalong with the message:

"Known this beast since he was 15. I was on the football field playing for Miami, he was leading the Hurricanes marching band as Drum Major. He spent years of working on my WWE story lines & Rock monologues. Then years of being on every movie set with me learning the film business from top to bottom. Today, he's one of the best and most sought after producers in Hollywood. Brilliant, relentless and one big motherf*cker! Proud of you brother & thank you for all the hard work. #ProducerHiram #TeamRock #JohnStewartCanStillWhupSupermansA**"
