Gwyneth Paltrow 'Iron Man 4,' 'Avengers 2' and 'Glee' Updates After 'Vanity Fair' Cheating Scandal

Gwyneth Paltrow fans rejoice, the starlet has survived her Vanity Fair alleged cheating scandal and getting back to working full force. The actress is returning to the hit Fox musical comedy, Glee for the show’s landmark 100th episode. Meanwhile, she has been opening about possibly reprising her role as Pepper Potts in the upcoming Marvel movies, Avengers 2 and Iron Man 4.

Gwyneth Paltrow is coming back to Glee for the show’s 100th episode. The starlet will reprise her along fellow Glee guest star, Kristin Chenoweth. Chenoweth recently opened up to E! News about the return episode and working with Paltrow.

"I get to do a lot with Gwyneth Paltrow. We are reprising our guest starring roles and that makes it really fun. We're having a good time."

The episode will reportedly deal with the issue of Cory Monteith’s death.
The director of the episode Paris Barclay, spoke to US Weekly about the special tribute to Finn:

"There is so much feeling there and it affected the Glee family in such a profound way, and you can expect it to be dealt with in the 100th episode. It definitely comes back and is dealt with in a significant way."

Barclay later added some details about Gwyneth Paltrow and Kristin Chenoweth:

"The two of them together are hysterical. They have a lot of scenes together, and I think they will be clamoring for a spin off after this! They have great chemistry, and they are incredibly funny."

However, Paltrow might not be returning to the Avengers sequel. Last year Paltrow was allegedly not even aware of what the movie was called, telling Hitfix:

"I don't think so, no one has asked me...What is it called?..Well, no, I don't think so. I haven't heard anything. My phone has not rung for Avengers 2."

She sounded equally detached from Iron Man 4, telling GeekNation:

“I don’t think there’s going to be [an Iron Man 4]. I think we’re done with Iron Man.”
