Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher have baby news. The couple reportedly told all their friends and family that this year they are going to have a baby. This is also the year that she and CMA co-host Brad Paisley are being sued for allegedly stealing someone's song for their duet.
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher's relationship felt the strain of Carrie's overwhelming schedule last year, and were forced to put the family plans on hold for a while.
Well, that has ended; a friend close to the family told Life & Style that Carrie and Mike has put out the word that they are going to do their best to make a baby:
"Mike and Carrie hoped to get pregnant in 2013, but they decided to put it off.
"During the holidays they told friends and family that 2014 was going to be the year they had a baby. They are both finally ready now."
30-year-old Underwood told Life & Style that she knows she is going to have to hurry to if she wants to stay on schedule, but figure parenthood should be pretty manageable with Mike's help:
"I really want my 30's to be all about my family. When we have kids it going to wonderful.
"[Mike]'s going to be the best dad ever. That makes the whole parent situation seem much much better."
Carrie is bound to make a fairly good mother herself, 12-year-old Sound of Music co- star Sophi Anne Caruso told Life & Style that Carrie had been more of a mother than a co-worker:
"Carrie was like a mom to us. She gave us hugs all the time. If we had trouble she talked to us."
And Underwood was able to do that for all 7 of her child co-star, though she doesn't think she is going to have near that many children of her own to worry about (Life & Style):
"I think two is a good number. I don't want too many!"
Just as long as she doesn't broadcast the birth live, her last llive performance was hard enough to watch.
