Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki’s ‘Supernatural: Tribes’ Spin-off Cast ‘TVD’ and ‘Skins Actors After New Season 10 Renewal

Well, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki fans will be pleased to know that the pair’s hit show Supernatural has been picked up for a tenth season. Now there is even more reason for fans of the hit CW series to get excited. The spin-off series, Supernatural: Tribes, has reportedly started casting. The line thus far includes former cast members from both The Vampire Diaries and Skins.

It looks like Supernatural isn’t dying off anytime soon. The hit CW series has just been renewed for an impressive tenth season. CW president Mark Pedowitz announced that the show has been renewe along with a fist full of other series:

"This season we've had great success with our new hit series The Originals paired with Supernatural, giving us our best Tuesday nights in years. The Vampire Diaries is number two in its time period in the young adult demos, and with Arrow continuing to gain among young men, and Reign growing its time period, we now have strong nights on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I'm very pleased to announce early pickups for all five series, and let our fans know they'll have more great drama to look forward to next season."

The fun doesn’t stop there. The hit series is now spinning-off a brand new show, titled Supernatural: Tribes.

The upcoming show will reportedly follow a new lead, Ennis roth, who is described by TVLine as:

“The de-facto star of the potential series, Ennis is ‘likeable, strong-willed, resolute, with a strong sense of justice.’ He’s the son of a cop who grew up in poverty. He’s en route to the police academy himself when someone he is close to is murdered--presumably by some kind of monster. He meets up with Sam and Dean and ‘learns the staggering truth’ that Chicago is run by five families of monsters (including, but perhaps not limited to, werewolves and shape shifters). And with that, a new monster-hunter is born.”

It has now been reported that Skins actor, Lucien Laviscount, has been cast as Roth.

Meanwhile, The Vampire Diaries’ Nathaniel Buzolic has also reportedly been cast.
