Good news, EL James fans! The upcoming 50 Shades of Grey movie may soon be releasing a trailer. The rumors first started circulating when it was revealed that filming was going to wrap sooner than expected. Now you can check out Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan in all of their glory, but sadly not Charlie Hunnam.
Ever since it was announced that EL James' popular novel, Fifty Shades of Grey, was going to be adapted into a film, fans have been losing their minds. Though the release date is still a year away, viewers may get a taste of the flick in a reportedly soon-to-be released trailer.
Headline and Global News is reporting that the film is ahead of schedule, which was confirmed by producer Dana Brunetti:
"The last scheduled date for filming is said to be Feb. 23. That's great news and hopefully fans will be rewarded with a little teaser trailer. We'll keep our fingers crossed. Producer Dana Brunetti also announced on Facebook that he was headed back to Vancouver, Canada to wrap up the movie."
If you just can't wait for the trailer, you can check out new pics of Dakota Johnson. Dakota will be playing Anastasia Steele in the movie and has really begun to look the part, as Just Jared reports:
"Dakota Johnson rocks pigtails while filming a running scene for her highly anticipated film Fifty Shades of Grey on Friday (February 14) in Vancouver, Canada."
Unfortunately, one person who we won't get to see is Charlie Hunnam.
Charlie shocked the world (and most likely the studio), when he abandoned the film just weeks before filming was to begin. Though, the producer's official statement regarding Charlie's exit reads:
"The filmmakers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam's immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey."
