CW: ‘Arrow’ and ‘Supernatural’ Spin-Offs; ‘Flash’ and ‘Tribes’ Plus ‘Originals’ and ‘Reign’ New Season Renewal

It is an exciting time for fans of the CW. The hip network is the home to some of today's hottest series. Not only does the channel house its champion series, The Vampire Diaries, but it is flooding the market with hit shows. The CW president has just announced the renewal of several series, including The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Arrow, Reign and Supernatural. The network also has a few more spin-offs planned, including DC’s The Flash and Supernatural: Tribes.

If you are a fan of the CW, then you are in luck. The network recently announced that a fist full of shows have received early renewal. President of the CW, Mark Pedowitz, announced the renewal in a statement to press that reads:

"This season we've had great success with our new hit series The Originals paired with Supernatural, giving us our best Tuesday nights in years. The Vampire Diaries is number two in its time period in the young adult demos, and with Arrow continuing to gain among young men, and Reign growing its time period, we now have strong nights on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I'm very pleased to announce early pickups for all five series, and let our fans know they'll have more great drama to look forward to next season."

Meanwhile, the network is hoping to cash in on the success of their hit shows with a pair of spin-offs. It was recently announced that the long running series Supernatural will spin-off a brand new series titled, Supernatural: Tribes.

The smash hit DC comics series Arrow has already introduced the next Justice Leaguer to join the network. Glee’s Grant Gustin recently guest starred as Barry Allen, A.K.A The Flash.
