Emma Watson might have had to deal with the super evil magic in Harry Potter, but she didn't have to worry about whether or not anything was really going to happen to her, because it was all pretend. But all pretend wasn't good enough for Darren Aronofsky, who is directing Emma and others in her new movie Noah, in which she plays Noah's daughter Ila. Darren's ban on clean water bottles and any other items that weren't 100 recyclable, forced Emma to drink 3-month old water that resulted in her getting terribly sick. When Darren was updated on her condition, Emma claims he forced her to work anyway.
Emma Watson used her guest editorship of this month edition of fashion magazine Wonderland to shine a light on the ridiculous ways dictator Darren Aronofsky directs his actors.
Darren decided to take things real old school, like Old Testament old, and banned all non-recyclable items.
His austere measure resulted in a fatigue addled Emma drinking some water that she otherwise wouldn't have been forced to do (via Daily Mail):
"Having no water bottles on set at five in the morning, when you're exhausted and delirious, wasn't ideal...
"I was so tired one morning I picked up a mug from my trailer and drank some stagnant water that had been there for the duration. I was so ill."
To add insult to injury when Emma explained her condition to director Darren he indignantly told her to use the miserable state she was physically in to fuel her performance in an upcoming scene (via Daily Mail):
"I turned round to the bus and was like: 'Is he joking? and there was deadly silence."
The $125 million blockbuster is set to hit theaters in the UK April 4, but remember to watch it for Emma, not that b-hole director Darren.
