22 Jump Street cast members Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill battle drug dealers, angry squids and college in the new trailer released earlier this week. Tatum has officially announced that he is writing the 'Magic Mike 2' script, while Hill is working on his own Oscar, as well as a budding relationship with a model.
The sequel to the hit Hollywood reboot 21 Jump Street is set to hit theaters soon, and a trailer packed with new footage has just been released in order to drum up excitement.
An earlier version of the trailer has been available since late last year, but according to NY Dailey News the new version includes with exciting plot tid-bits and more:
"While a red band trailer for the film was released in December, this clip includes new footage, such as the pair's run-in with a giant squid and a drug cartel headed up by the "Mexican Wolverine," which leads [Tatum] to try to speak in a Mexican accent. (Spoiler alert: his accent is hilariously awful.)"
While in sequel mode Tatum made news last week when he confirmed via Twitter that he has started working on the new Magic Mike screenplay.
"What better way to start writing #MagicMike2 than with my old friend Dallas? #runatribe."
Jonah Hill is spending his free time working on his burgeoning romance with model/actress Isabelle McNally.
According to reports by Star, the Hollywood couple is settling down into domestic life pretty quickly:
"After first being spotted together in September, the pair have been inseparable ever since, with frequent runs to the grocery store and gym."
Who know, maybe in five or six years Hill will be able to carry a movie all by himself.
