How I Met Your Mother cast member Neil Patrick Harris is moving the family to NYC, so he can return to Broadway. News has it his fiancé, David Burtka, and their twins will be reportedly living with him in one of the nicest houses just under $4 million can buy. According to recent rumors, Alyson Hannigan's new weight loss obsession, has friends and family fearful that she might have an eating disorder.
Neil Patrick Harris and family have decided to move from LA to NYC, so NPH's commute to his new Broadway role of Hedwig and the Angry Inch won't be quite so time consuming.
But there are a lot of cultural benefits to moving the kids from the west coast to the Capitol of the World, New York.
The 40-year-old actor told Life & Style that the Big Apple had a lot to offer if you can get past the occasional poor weather:
"I think [the kids] eyes will be open to a lot of things that I wouldn't have thought to show them in L.A...[But] when we're lugging two children through the snow and sleet and wind, I don't know whether we'll enjoy it so much."
Maybe not, but at least they will have a $3.6 million mansion, described by real estate expert Cristin Zweig in Life & Style as perfect for NPH's particular family needs:
"The five-story, five-bedroom residence is one of the largest and grandest homes in the Harlem neighborhood. Plus it has a large backyard perfect for the children to run around in...Their family friendly digs will keep them focused on each other and the twins."
Co-star Allison Hannigan could reportedly use to refocus her attentions, away from her obsession with her weight.
A friend of Hannigan told Star that the family was starting to become concerned with Alyson all-consuming diet centered lifestyle:
"Alyson has become extremely obsessed with her diet. Her weight has become her obsession. She exercises multiple times a day and eats very little. And she still thinks she needs to shed more!"
Maybe she needs to follow NPH out to the east coast for a little bit of cake and culture.
