New ‘Archer: Vice’ & ‘Chozen’ Preview After ‘Wilfred’ Assault Case and FX Cancellation Update

Sad news for fans of FX. There are no new episodes of the hit animated series, Archer: Vice and Chozen. However, the shows will return next week and we have the official plot preview for both shows. Meanwhile, the mind bending series Wilfred has been cancelled from the network and moved to the spin-off channel FXX for the final season. Speaking of Wilfred, the victim in Jason Gann’s 2007 assault has found some legal trouble of his own.

Tonight there are no new episodes of Archer: Vice, however, the next episode is just one week away. The official plot synopsis for next Monday’s all new Archer episode titled, “Southbound and Down,” reads:

“Malory buys a bus and takes everyone on a road trip. Put that hammer down and give it hell.”

Speaking of Eastbound and Down, the producers of the hit HBO comedy are the masterminds behind the new animated comedy, Chozen. The show features Saturday Night Live vet, Bobby Moynihan as a recently released from prison, gay white rapper.

The official plot synopsis for next week's all new episode of Chozen, titled, "I'm With the Contraband," reads:

“Chozen launches a criminal enterprise at the university.”

It is starting to sound like Chozen is following Archer into the world of drug dealing vice. Archer star H. Jon Benjamin, recently opened up about the theme shift to The Daily Beast:

“When I first heard about it, I was psyched. We take it on the road, and so much crazy shit happens this season. It’s insane. It’s like Breaking Bad meets Miami Vice.”

Meanwhile, FX has put everyone’s favorite, man in a dog suit, Wilfred, has been put up for adoption. The series is moving to the new network, FXX for the fourth and final season. The show’s lead, Jason Gann, got into a bit of trouble back in 207, when he assaulted a bus driver. Now the driver is facing up to 115 criminal charges for allegedly working while claiming disability.
