“Ryan and Max are drawn into a game of cat-and-mouse after apprehending a suspect. Elsewhere, Joe formulates a new plan, and Emma begins to understand the danger she has put herself in through the company she's keeping.”

Meanwhile, the show's star, Shawn Ashmore, has been taking his role as Iceman in the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past film pretty seriously. The actor has been making a snowman with his fellow canadian, Nina Dobrev, of Degrassi and The Vampire Diaries fame. Dobrev recently posted a picture of herself and Ashmore, playing in the snow, writing:

"At a shoot w/ @shawnrashmore.What do two Canadians do during some downtime. Build a snowman, naturally. Duh. #canadianstereotypes haha."

Ashmore is getting used to the cold darkness. The actor recently opened up about his The Following character, Mike Weston, ( Not to be confused with guy from Burn Notice) telling reporters at the Brooklyn sound stage:

“Things basically drive Mike to the brink. You can’t imagine worse things happening to anybody...Mike was put through the meat grinder really, emotionally, physically, psychologically, through the first season and continuing into the second. so it’s fun for me to explore and go down the rabbit hole emotionally with Mike.”

The new episode of The Following airs tonight on Fox at 9.p.m.
