Kyle Busch apologizes for his Sprint Cup rant

NASCAR driver Kyle Busch has issued an apology for comments he made to Toyota Racing Development at the Sprint Cup Race past Sunday.

"I made some remarks out of frustration on my radio at the end of last weekend's race in Dover that were very misguided," Busch said."I owe my friends at Toyota and TRD an apology. We have a great partnership with TRD and they built me a motor that helped me lead over 300 laps and nearly lap the field.

Busch was upset that he came seventh at the Sprint event and aired his fustrations about his below podium finish after the race via the car's radio.

"Thank you, TRD''. "F*** us out of another one. Piece of s***mother******,'' said Busch.

In response to the driver's outburst Toyota Racing Development President Lee White was left disappointed by the former NASCAR Rookie of the year.

"We understand Kyle's passion for racing and winning. At TRD and Toyota, we have that same zeal for racing and winning. We were disappointed with Kyle's post-race comments from Dover, a race that he dominated."

Busch seventh place finish at Dover culminates in a frustrating year for the Nevada native. Who was looking to build on the 12th place finish he got last term. Mechanical problems have also hampered the driver's performance in the past.

White however still thinks Toyota has a good chance of winning this season but takes issue with Busch's attitude and he along with others at TDR takes the driver's comments personally.

Winner of the Sprint Cup Brad Keselowski has five Sprint cup wins to his name and earned 2142 points to Busch's 870 points.
