The upcoming movie, Muppets Most Wanted, might star Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais, Kermit, Miss Piggy and the gang, but it is Tom “Loki” Hiddleston and Ross Lynch that will be drawing fangirls in. The Disney prince and the pop star both have small roles in the new film. This movie will also mark the Austin and Ally star's big screen debut. Both stars can be seen in the film's brand new trailer.
Tom Hiddleston and Ross Lynch are two of hottest actors in the business, and Disney knows full well just what kind of potential they both have.
Hiddleston, best known for his role as Loki in Marvel’s Thor and Avenger films, won several awards during 2013, including E! Online’s Best Celebrity of 2013. Hiddleston claimed 52.9 percent of the votes, totalling out to 38,689, with Ian Somerhalder bringing in 34,385 or 47.1 percent.
In the new film, Hiddleston plays The Great Escape, a moustached escape artist.
The movie also features Austin and Ally star Ross Lynch in his big screen debut. The Disney Channel heartthrob will be playing a Young Florist/Nerd Teenage Kid.
The film opens on March 21. The official synopsis for the movie, reads:
“Disney’s Muppets Most Wanted takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic "Number Two" Badguy (portrayed by Ricky Gervais).”
Lady Gaga, Debby Ryan, WWE’s Hornswoggle, Bridgit Mendler, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Usher, Zach Galifianakis and many more, all make cameo appearance in the film.
