Tonight, everyone’s favorite teen odd couple, Sam and Cat, are back with an all new episode. Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande go from babysitters to bootleggers in tonight's brand new showing, “#BlueDogSoda.” However, Sam & Cat’s days may be numbered. New cancellation rumors are popping up after Jennette McCurdy’s recent comments that she didn’t want to do the show.
Tonight is an all new episode of the hit Nickelodeon sitcom, Sam and Cat.
The iCarly and Victorious spin-off is very popular with young viewers, however, it almost never happened. Jennette McCurdy recently sparked some brand new cancellation rumors when she told Naked magazine about not wanting to do the show:
“I did not want to play Sam anymore--I was over it. I’m sarcastic and blunt enough in real life that I wanted to do something different.”
Ariana Grande could not have been thrilled to reprise her role as well. The actress’ hair was tortured from having to dye it red for four years on Victorious. However, Grande revealed that she has found a solution to her problem in an Instagram rant, writing:
“Since people give me such a hard time about my hair I thought I’d take the time to explain to everybody.I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first four years of playing Cat [on Victorious]… as one would assume, that completely destroyed my hair. I now wear a wig on Sam & Cat.”
Do not look for Sam and Cat to be off the air anytime soon. The show’s first season was doubled to 40 episodes. That means the one season of the series is as long as most other show’s multi season runs.
Tune into the all new episode tonight at 8.
