Liz Gillies has laid relatively low since her hit Nickelodeon show Victorious was unjustly canceled at the height of its popularity. Now the starlet is starting to shine once again. Not only did she recently return to Nickelodeon, reprising her role as Jade on the spin-off series Sam and Cat for a one hour reunion special, but she also announced that she finished recording new music. Gillies also has a new line of designer tweezers out. That is right, tweezers! The actress is going to need them to get herself out of a hairy situation. She recently stole Ariana Grande’s pet dog.
Fans have not heard much from Liz Gillies since Victorious was canceled although all may change very soon. Gillies recently announced that she was close to finishing some new tunes, telling her fans via Twitter:
“Thank you guys for being so patient with me & my music. Promised myself I wouldn’t put anything out until it felt 100% right. Getting close!”
Meanwhile, Gillies has been working on her very own design line, however, it might not be what you think. The actress/singer has released a line of designer tweezers. Gillies spoke about her line of manicure products in a press release, stating:
“I wanted to design my own tweezers because I am really big on tweezers. I used to have really big eyebrows and I obviously tweezed them away. I think having a unique tweezer is really the way to go. I wanted to design my own. Something that is personalized. Something that is pretty. These tweezers feel very different from a normal tweezer. They grip better and they are prettier. Not to bash every other tweezer, but I like these ones.”
Gillies has stayed close with her Victorious co-stars. Not only did she recently guest star in the Sam and Cat one hour special, “#The Killer Tuna Jump!.” Gillies recently stole “Cat,” Ariana Grande’s pet dog, Toulouse. Gillies posted a picture of the her with Grande’s dog along with the message:
“I stole one of your animals.@arianagrande”
Lets hope for Ariana’s sake she doesn’t use the tweezer on poor Toulouse.
