American Horror Story: Coven was undoubtedly one of the hottest shows of the 2013-2014 season. Part of the show’s major appeal is the over-sexually charged chemistry between the cast. So when long time AHS vet Even Peters teamed up with his real life girlfriend Emma Roberts this year on the show, fans were treated to some real life action. Now the X-Men Quiksilver actor and his girlfriend are getting married, despite the fact that she was arrested last year for a domestic assault and the rumored objections from their friend Kelly Osbourne.
Last year, Emma Roberts was arrested for assaulting her boyfriend Even Peters, after Canadian cops were called to their hotel room and found Peters with a bloody nose and a bite mark.
Shortly after the incident, a rep for the both actors released a statement on their behalf:
“It was an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding. Ms. Roberts was released after questioning and the couple are working together to move past it."
Peters later dropped all charges against Roberts, and the couple has moved on.
They even recently got engaged. However, the pair’s union has not been without some alleged objections.
It was reported by Star that an insider close to Kelly Osbourne claims that she,“doesn’t think they’re ready for this kind of commitment.”
However, the couples American Horror Story: Coven co-star, Taissa Farmiga, seems to think otherwise. Farmiga spoke the pairs chemistry when she was talking with Vulture about getting intimate with the couple on screen:
“It was definitely a little odd, but I think we were just laughing about how crazy it was. I think we just wanted it to be done. Luckily, we went with ‘the implied version,’ and we were all happy about that...You get so many drafts of the scripts; I really don’t know what the first version was. But in the end, I think what we did was good enough [laughs]. Emma and Evan are so sweet and so cute together! It was really totally fine, but if you just think about the situation, it’s completely odd.”
