Well, Nancy Grace is back to doing her favorite thing, eliciting controversy. Despite the public outcry the talking head generated when using the hashtag #FreezerTot to describe the murder of Kayleigh Slusher, she has since refused to remove the tweets. This latest scandal comes just weeks after instigating a feud with both Ice Cube and Kevin Hart.
Grace, who is known for being as polarizing as she is loud, has many outraged by her insensitive use of the hashtag, when discussing the murder of 3-year-old Kayleigh Slusher of Napa, Ca.
The child, who is believed to have been murdered by her parents, was killed just days after a welfare visit to her home. Authorities have revealed that her body, though found in her own bed, had been put in a freezer.
It is that shocking revelation that lead Nancy Grace to idiotically use the hashtag #FreezerTot, when promoting HLN's coverage of the tragedy. But, Grace didn't use the phrase just once...she used it multiple times over, via Twitter:
Cops find 3-year-old baby girl beaten to death in her bed-then discover that her body was first stuffed in the family fridge #FreezerTot
They stored this precious girl's body in the freezer? May they rot in hell! #FreezerTot
CPS visited just days earlier! How did they miss this? Why wasn't this little girl safe? #FreezerTot
Mommy needs to stew in the same pot in front of the jury! I'm not going to let go of this until she gets life in jail #FreezerTot
At least this time Nancy is going after someone who deserves it. Normally, the giant talking head spends her days focused on much more trivial matters.
This is especially true for her failed "War Against Marijuana," that left many laughing at Grace instead of praising her tenacity. Two people who have been open about their distaste for the HLN anchor are Kevin Hart and Ice Cube.
After Nancy claimed that all pot smokers were "fat and lazy," the two comics took time to rip on Nancy.
What do you think about Grace's latest comments? Was her use of the hashtag offensive?
