The Jonas Brothers might have broken up late last year, but don’t lose hope just yet. Kevin and wife Danielle have added one more tiny Jonas to the clan’s illustrious ranks. The eldest Jonas welcomed daughter Alena Rose into the world last Super Bowl Sunday. Not to be out done, Joe Jonas has employment news. The middle son is working as a driver for the Uber Taxi company. Rumor has it that he is also filming a commercial, but that hasn’t been officially confirmed by any third parties as of yet. One thing is for certain, at the very least it’s work.
It was confirmed last Sunday, Feb. 2, that Kevin Jonas' wife Danielle had given birth to a healthy baby girl.
The couple issued a joint statement celebrating their excitement and thanking everyone for their support (via E!):
"We are overjoyed at the birth of Alena Rose Jonas. She is precious! We could not be more excited to start building our family together. We want to thank our family and friends for their love and support, and our fans for all of their well wishes."
New father Kevin told E! that he was very happy and almost as equally scared at the arrival of his baby girl:
"I was overjoyed. It's been the most exciting thing in my life so far. I'm excited and I'm nervous."
Joe has also got a lot to be excited about.
After being spotted chaffering people around in a mini cooper, it was confirmed by Uber Taxi that the Jonas brother was indeed working as a driver for them (via Huffington Post):
"Joe is officially a driver on the uberX platform, which is our low-cost, eco-friendly vehicle type. He went through all the onboarding, and went through the system to be verified as a driver on the platform. He's gotten high ratings. He's a great driver."
It's always hell being the middle child.
