Recently retired and often shirtless soccer super-star David Beckham wasn't afraid to strip down to nothing but his underwear for his new H&M Super Bowl commercial, allegedly so long as they stuffed a sock or something down there ahead of time. Though his rep claims otherwise, rumor has it that David conformed to the industry standard and allowed them to enhance things, however they like. And he had better do whatever it takes to get that money; Beckham did just recently spend a reported $65 million on Victoria's new house in London.
It has been claimed by David Beckham's official representative that he appeared unaided by any kind of prosthesis in his recent H&M Super Bowl underwear ad.
But according to some underwear industry experts, that just absolutely could not be true.
One television commercial stylist told Star that, of course, Beckham stuffed his underwear for the shoot, everyone has to if they want to show up on TV:
"David is definitively "enhanced' for his new Super Bowl ads. I have never been on an underwear shoot where the model didn't...In order to make the bulge look so pronounced in the photos, David's underwear has to be carefully stuffed and padded to create the illusion."
And it might be worth all the fuss to get the paycheck to pay off MR. Beckham's lavish new mansion, which he and his wife just recently bought in London.
According to UK's realtor to the star Giselle Harrison, it's a good thing the couple wasn't on a budget when they went shopping for their new home, because they broke the bank (via Life & Style):
"The Beckhams have chosen the most expensive and glamorous area of London. They have fantastic restaurants, shops and museums, and their neighbors are some of the richest people in the United Kingdom!..It's one of the most incredible streets in London. Victoria will have more than enough space to have an entire room dedicated to her shoes and handbags."
Now when is Posh Spice going to take her clothes off to pay for that closet?
