“Once upon a time I was falling in love, but now I'm only falling apart,” in anticipation of tonight's new episode of the The Vampire Diaries, titled “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” The hit CW series is all new tonight at 8 p.m. Meanwhile, Nina Dobrev is offering a few spoilers about the fate of Elena.
Welcome back to Mystic Falls. NBC might be taking the month off, but the CW is still going strong with an all new episode of the hit show The Vampire Diaries.
The official synopsis for tonight's new episode, titled "Total Eclipse of the Heart,” reads:
“Caroline convinces Elena and Bonnie to attend Whitmore College's Bitter Ball for broken-hearted students; and Bonnie meets a fellow student who appears to be dabbling in witchcraft. Meanwhile, Tyler worries about Matt's relationship with Nadia; and Damon and Enzo resort to violence to convince Bonnie and Jeremy to help them get revenge, but their plan takes a horrifying turn.”
Meanwhile, Nina Dobrev is offering up a few spoilers of her own. Dobrev was recently a guest at the star studded DirecTV 8th Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl. While at the flag football game, Dobrev spoke with MTV about the fate of her character Elena:
"Elena is kind of gone, Katherine took over her body, so she's MIA and nobody knows, it's kind of like going missing, like, getting kidnapped and the kidnapper leaving a note and saying that you're on vacation for indefinitely and, welp, nobody is going to look for you because they don't know you're gone. It's kind of a scary thing for her and it'll be interesting to see how long Katherine can get away with it."
