X Factor producer surly Simon Cowell is doing everything in his power to prepare for the upcoming due date of his pregnant fiancé Lauren Silverman, short of actually being with her beforehand. Simon, who is ruthlessly devoted to the success, is unable to allow himself to take time away from Britain's Got Talent, until the absolute last minute. That is why he has a private jet waiting to take to New York at a moment's notice, once Lauren goes into labor.
It isn't a shock that Lauren Silverman would opt to have her baby in her native New York as opposed to spending unneeded time with Simon Cowell in London.
But Lauren won't be able to get away from him that easily, because Cowell has leased a private jet to ferry him from coast to coast, just as soon as his fiancé's baby makes it move.
Cowell will not be staying for long though, a source told Entertainmentwise. Simon and his show can't stand to be away from each other for too long:
"Simon obviously wants to be there for Lauren and meet the baby as soon as he or she is born. The plane means that Simon can get going with only an hour's notice and will be with Lauren in the shortest time possible... Lauren and the baby's well-being are Simon's number one priority and as soon as he has ensured everything is OK and spent some time with his first child, he will come back home...But he plans to shuttle between New York and London as often as possible to see them."
At least when his BGT wraps, Cowell will be able to focus on his new baby, until X Factor starts back up of course.
